This exhibition took place at Clearview in 2022, featuring paintings that reflected my deep fascination at the time with angels and their symbolism, which I compulsively incorporated into my artwork. Alongside these angelic motifs, I also ventured into abstract painting, often juxtaposing them with larger compositions. These works embodied a spontaneous and intuitive approach, embracing the act of creation without overthinking, and translating the symbols, images, and shapes that occupied my mind during that period onto the canvas.
The title "I Know Myself to Be Secretive" alludes to the diary-like approach I adopted in creating these paintings. They serve as an extension of my personal journal, capturing my private thoughts and emotions.
